/The 2022 Hot Rod Power Tour was a HOT skip and a jump from Memphis to Nashville to Hoover to Pensacola, to the Atlanta Motor Speedway. Daytime temps hovered in the 90s while the heat index shot well past 110 more than once. No worries! Stephen’s beautiful Chevy is a loving tribute to Laurie, his girlfriend who died of cancer in 2019. Her touches are all over this ride.
Shannan and I have had a blast on eleven Hot Rod Power Tours, long-hauling ten times in six different rides over that span. When asked why, one reason always goes back to the people: friends and families, talking and looking and helping, and sometimes just enjoying the cars.
And then there are the classics and the timeless . . .

Land yachts, throwbacks, and those some consider wonderfully odd . . .
Shannan knows I love Caddys (and big Lincolns), which, of course, deserve much space!
